This could be a tough one... (mirroring a forum category accross two vBull installs)
I'm not sure how to best search for help on this one so hopefully it doesn't get asked too often...
I have two vbulletin forums on two sites. One of my sites is a support forum for my software products and the other was a support forum for a particular product that has now grown into its own community. My problem now is that I am stuck between needing to keep my support forums on a single site and keeping my other community going by allowing a particular product(s) to be supported there. The solution, I hope, is to be able to allow each forum to show a given category(s) on both vbulletin installation. I realize I would likely have to share the user tables, but I'm not sure how best to approach this. If anyone with any insight or experience in doing this can lend their knowledge I would be greatly appreciative. Thank you. |
