Conditional statement

I have a code

Code:

<if condition="$user[field7] == 1">

Is this right?
Is $user[field7] right?
If i want to push out the field7 of the user profile from people who posted the reply, I will use $post[field7].
But If i want to push out the field7 of the user profile from people who is viewing the reply or the thread, what will i use?
Please answer my question?
