Multiple forums using vbulletin?
Hi, I have an existing site at www.talktopics.com. I am thinking of changing it to vbulletin but have some questions regarding licensing issues and whether I am permitted to do what i intend to do.
Here's what i want to do: 1. Allow members at talktopics to instantly start their own 'Forum or group'. This forum will have it's own sub-categories. For example, a member who wants to talk about toyotas can create a group called toyota, and his forum would be at: toyota.talktopics.com/ and he can have categories for that such as: - Buying Toyotas - Selling Toyotas - Intro yourself as toyota fan - etc - etc Now, my question really is two part: 1. Is it even possible with hacks to do this or is this really a silly question and is alreay build into vbulletin? 2. Would my sub-domain idea violate vbulletin's licensing as they could theoritically be considered as running multiple forums??? |
