Login on my header

I'm just putting together my website and was wondering if there were a way to remove the login section of the forum and have it be on my site's header instead above my menu.

Here's a screenshot to help illustrate.



I've gotten it to work by plugging in the login info from the navbar template...

however I can't get it to recognize the forum settings...

My test page is: www.sportstalknet.net/header.html

Can anyone look at my code and let me know if you know why it's not picking up on the forum settings?
