I'm making a community/resource website for Air Force Security Forces. When the member creates an account, I want them to be able to choose from the different rank images I'm making for them that would show up next to their post. How would I go about doing that?

Sorry, if it sounds dumb my excuse is that I've never touched PHP or forums or anything of the sort. Absolutely new at this.
