Help Me?

Okay, I was wondering how I can get the box that is under the nav bar and the little gray piece on the thead fixed. I don't want the box under the nav bar there anymore, and I want the gray to be back blue like the thead column. help anyone?

EDIT: I found out how to fix the gray part, I just need help on the box under the nav bar.
