Ok, so you may remember that last year I had a problem with massive spiders in my appartment.
Tonight I have discovered that I am starting with an ant infestation in my kitchen. So far they haven't reached the food, which is good, but there quite a number of them. They also haven't yet spread to the rest of the appartment (which is only quite small). I'm not sure where they are coming in from, as there are some on my main work surface, some on the floor near the bin (under the afore mentioned work surface), and some around the washing machine (other side of the kitchen). What I am wondering if anyone can help me out with, is quite simple. How do I get rid of them? Bear in mind that I have two cats, and my kitchen is open plan into my living room, so things such as ant powder or liquid are totally out of the question as I can't have any type of poison as it is impossible to keep the cats out of the kitchen. So, I'm open to suggestions. |
