Does it exist: A hack for computer specifications?

I've seen this somewhere, but can't seem to find it. Can someone point me in the direction of the vB mod that allows computer specs to show in vB? Further, this hack adds a special section to the UserCP...I know that can probably be done via custom fields but there is some kind of template edit isn't there?
