Parse rss not working
I'm trying to parse the rss feed from my external.php using the parse code I've nicked from the following link:
http://www.zend.com/zend/spotlight/c...0&view=1#notes It's showing 'could not open for input' which is the error message when the parse function dies. I think this is probably cos the code is written for files with the rss extension rather than php files with get variables passed, although I'm not sure. Here's how I'm calling the parse function: <?php parseRDF("http://www.poker.ie/community/forums/external.php?type=rss2&forumids=20"); ?> I tried reading it with rss reading software and it worked great. I'm a complete RSS newbie. Could someone please help me out in reading the rss 2.0 feed from external.php to a webpage for display? Never mind, I found a tutorial on how to do it using magpie rss.
