Side bar in thread view only

I've attached an image of what I'm looking for.

I've seen other side bars offered here and they are nice. What I try and stay away from though is modifying the Forum home and forum listings pages from being touched as they already have enough columns to deal with. This request is only for adding a side bar next to the posts of a thread, leaving the link bar as is.
