Default Javascript people, a little help please...

As you can see from the replies to this hack, there is a minor problem:
Randomly (not always) first click will just empty out the QR textarea. I personally don't have such problem, tested in three browsers, but people in that thread do, and the users on my board do as well... Anyone can help me fix this-don't-know-what? Thanks.
