An alternate way to make the Username field Active upon page load?
I had asked once before (http://www.vbulletintemplates.com/mo...ead.php?t=5971), how I could make the Username field Active upon page load - so that as soon as the page loaded, a user could just begin typing in order to log in.
Wnorris helped me greatly by proposing a solution. After working with it for a while, however - there is one thing I would like to improve upon. With the method I am currently using, the Username field is only made active when the page is loaded from the Address Line of the Browser, Bookmark, or by clicking the main Title Image on the top of the page. If the username field is NOT active, and you simply reload the page by hitting Refresh - or if you mistype the password and hit the Back button - the Username field does not become Active again. I would like to know if there is any way around this limitation. I don't know if it's simply a matter of different PHP code, or if it would need to be done via HTML in order to make this work during a Refresh or Back action. But I would certainly appreciate anyone's attempts to try! |
