Complete NEWBIE Question
I have been a proud administrator of vB for about 6 months now and I completely love what it can do. I go back a very long ways, having started with and customizing PCBoard, RBBS, etc. Then came the internet with Matt's script, then InfoPop, and then finally vB. I'll never recommend anything else again!
I am a website developer that is fluent in HTML. I'm learning PHP at a steady pace. But now for my question: How do you BEGIN creating a complete remake of the style? Like this site... does one start by creating a page as HTML, then drop in the vB vars? I can see that each php script does what it is supposed to do - modular programming (I started with basic, dBase, Clipper(!), vB, some C,) and get the concept. But where do I start????? |
