Can cookies be made different for AdminCP and the normal Forums?
I think most of the admins have faced that, but I can't figure it out (maybe the fact that I only slept for an hour last night is the reason).
I am in AdminCP and do some changes in a profile, which affects registered users only. So, I open a new browser window, go into the forums and check what I've done. Now, since the change affects the normal users, I have to login the forum as a normal user, using a test account. I do my testing, and I am not satisfied with the results, so I switch over to the AdminCP window to do some more changes. Bingo, I have to re-login. I assume this is a cookie issue, can't that be made so that the AdminCP window stays logged in as the admin and the forums window stays logged in as a normal user? Security issues maybe??? I don't know, what I know is that this is a pain. Rgds ------------ John |
