Alternative Journal System - But is it possible ?

Ok. Since ,as of now , the real blog system don't exist[ I know that some serious work is going on it... :ermm: ] so I came up with this idea. Now here's what I want to do to create a Blog...

I create a special forum and then syndicate out the latest posts and their content [ Hint - Featured threads at DaniWeb.com ] to a special page in the subfolder Site.com/blog .

How is it possible ? I know how to syndicate the latest threads using external.php [ :ninja: now stop laughing , I know I sound stupid in here but I am not from technical background... I am from Marketing Industry

] but how can I syndicate the Text for those latest threads. [ And If Possible , the full content of the first post ]...

Any suggestions.
