e-mail to new members with rules etc

hi all,

i dont know if the hack im requesting already exists but this is what i want/need,

We as forum Administrators want that as soon as a new member register himself that the new member gets a mail with the rules of our forum + a short story about it

i dont know if this is possible (probebly is) if anyone made this hack already pls post it here

we are using VBB Version 2.2.6
