Content Management System System based on Vbulletin -- Anyone interested?
I've been working on a content management system in php with a vbulletin user backend. No, this isn't php-nuke. It's similair although it's much much more efficient and can be customized a LOT more.
Time to explain the cool parts. - Everything's written in classes. - Built in Module support (so you can add new modules whenever you need, supports parsing server commands, etc, wildcard file includes, web data grabber (if you want to get news off slashdot.org or xml stuff). You can select what mods you want to load on what pages! - Template support like vbulletin, but uses a better caching system and let's users load templates that they want on every page to parse whatever data they need. - Global session system and passport-styled logins. Let's you have multiple network sites linked into one user database and supports logging in to one site and having that site log you automatically into the rest, similair to MSN Passport but php style - Tons of other stuff, themes, skins, anything Vbulletin has this has, and it's OOP style, meaning all objects get optimized by Zend. Also has gzip output and optional configuration variable loading FROM the database.. aka you edit a table called config, add an item, it'll create a variable called item with the value of whatever was in the table.. quite useful. Is anyone interested in helping me on this? ONLY serious, very talented php programmers who have very good experience in OOP style programming need apply. Newblars are welcome to look at the code, but if you aren't a serious programmer you're going to get pretty lost pretty fast. I'm interested in someone who can work on this while I'm sleeping, aka I come home work, post updates/changes, then those changes get done during the night and I do the changes he requests during the time I'm sleeping / at school. I live in the Eastern Coast of USA, so UK would be best.... we can use more than 2 or 3 people |
