Automatic Marked Read my way????
K, i have a question.
Who can program me my marked read for Forums and Sub-Forums. All that you need is a Query (or 2) at a specified time-setting (interval) in the CP. My thoughts on this one are as follows: I can set a time-interval (e.g. 5 min.) so every 5 minutes a query is automatically released which checks if all threads in a forum or subforum are read (threads are automatically marked read if you click their link)...if so then it marks the forum or subforum as read and the lightbulb changes to white. If not it keeps coloured So another thing on this it that when a forum has a subforum then all the theads in the subforum could be read but not all threads in the main forum or parent forum are read so then only the lightbulb of the subforum should be swithed to off...if in the subforum and the parent forum are all threads read then it should switch both lightbulbs to off... Could this work??? |
