Question about Linking Usernames

I have two questions and I am sure there are probably some hacks here. I am looking to have people's usernames (in their posts) be links to their profile.

Also I am looking to add a "Search for users posts" icon thingy to people's usernames on their posts.

I would appreciate your help!
