Change usergroup 'on the fly'
I've searched the forums several times using different queries, but came up empty.
I know there's at least one modification which lets you log in as another user, but that's not entirely what I'm looking for. I wonder if there's a mod out there, or a possibility to get it, which lets you change your own usergroup (being an Administrator yourself) to any of the other classes, basically to check and verify permission settings on your forum., without for example having the need to log in as another user with that specific usergroup or create another user yourself and having to log in as that user. The mod would basically be, at least that's how I can see it, a dropdown menu with all different usergroups. Selecting any would change your browsing as if you belonged to that usergroup, with a notification/warning on top (as with the 'Log In As User' mod) mentioning you are currently viewing the browser as another usergroup. Does anyone know if there's such a mod available or possibly willing to create one like it? Any help would be appreciated . |
