It?s possible to notify admin when new article is posted?
How is the admin notified when a new article is posted but not published? Since the permissions are so limited in the CMS system, I have chosen to give the members Read Access, Download Attachments, and Create Content access. This means that when they create an article, it is 'NOT PUBLISHED'. Which is good because it can be reviewed by a mod or admin.
But.... How do we (mods & admin) find out a new article was published? There doesn't seem to be any notification. New content sits in the 'not published' format until a mod or someone happens along and actually clicks manage content in the vb CMS section of the Admincp. Is there a setting that sends a pm or creates a notification that there is content waiting to be published? If so, where is it? Really seems like I am missing some settings somewhere...? If it's not possible, someone knows how to insert the code to send an email to admin each time a user insert a new article in CMS? Thanks, |
