Back button on vbulletin 4 help please

Hello,

I am curious if anyone knows how I would go about fixing it where my members would be able to hit the back button once they go into the forum and such? Right now we are not able to view a particular thread and when we are done hit the back button to get to the previous page? I was initially told it had to do with the skin package I purchased but if I test it in the vbulletin default skin the back button does not work there either? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
