Imposible to find a slider that works fine the lastest Vb versions

Looks imposible to find a slider that works fine for the lastest Vb versions.
Did anyone find a good working one?, Im a bit tire of look around for it and do not find any that works good.
A slider is something basic that most of us need ?Why is so hard to find a working one?
