Redirect Manager or Change Page to end in a Specific URL?

Is there a tool/mod/hack Manager that will convert PHP links to a specific HTML link?

For example, I have a page where the URL looks like this:

http://www.mysite.com/forums/showthread.php?p=12

I would like the link to replace an old page, (got google ranking, etc.) and have the actual link look like this for just this single thread:

http://www.mysite.com/info.htm
(I only need this for a few pages. Maybe 5 total.)

I could accomplish the same effect using a redirect in .htaccess, but that would mean that it's still a redirect. (The actual URL would not be the same.)

I was just hoping for some hack/tweak/mod to change a few of the database URLs to exact HTML page links.
