Sorting posts by rating
I'm a little embarrassed to have to ask this, because I (gulp) don't know if this is just how new vb 4.x IS or if I did something to remove the functionality myself. It would be helpful if someone could tell me this is how their board behaves too - or not, so I can work backwords and restore it!!
In our vB community, we utilize the thread rating system as a way to ask the Admins to archive good threads. We just use the 5-star rating to mean "please save!" and don't really use the others. Formerly, when it was time to archive, we'd sort the forums by rating stars so the starred threads pop to the top. We'd archive those according to how we store things like that, and then proceed with pruning everything else past a certain date. However, I no longer seem to have a column header for the thread ratings!! I've only cleaned up the forums once since the changeover, and it was a giant PITA to have to manually watch for starred forums and make sure I saved them, before hitting Prune Before X Date. So is this my fault, or is it gone for everyone? Any ideas on restoring it for me, either way? |
