CMS 404 error problem

Hello,

When I try to edit the articles, add a new article, view an article, etc. I get this message from Firefox:

Quote:

Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost.

connection.

I am running the GOLD version locally. Tried 3 fresh install, two with the populated CMS and one without. Please help me?
