Default Can I add the following...
I need to add the folowing, if possible.

On my home page, I would like to have a section where users can log into the forums. Once they click sign in, it redirects them to the forums page.

I also would like to show the latest 4 or 5 posts.

Are these possible to do? I am not using Wordpress or anything like that. I am strictly using my own code.
