Multiple Column Sponsor Ads

I spoke with the administrator of the site who has this on his forum, but he has no recollection of the details on how it was created, other than its sources. It's a combination of two modifications:

Wayne Luke's "Make Linked Forums Appear as Sponsors"

Attached is a screenshot from the site where it is. Does anybody have an idea about how to go about reproducing this work or making a modification that does?
