Extracting misc files from PSD main design (Help)

ok, Im trying to make a simple design to my forum using the PSD file. But I been trying to extract the misc out of the PSD and no way I been able to find the trick to it.

Can someone please tell me how I do this or at least tell me the easiest way to make a design editing the buttons header logo ect....
