Display iTrader ratings on Photopost Classifieds pages

We're using the popular iTrader hack on our site along with Photopost Classifieds. I know PPClassifieds now has a user feedback system built-in but we started using iTrader long before that was available and we like the features of iTrader better.

The problem is that PPClassifieds isn't easily modified to integrate tightly into vb. You can't just throw vb variables into PPC pages and have them work. We'd like to show iTrader ratings for users who submit classified ads on the pages where their ad lives as well as on PPC category pages.

Now our classifieds directory lives outside of our forums directory so I'm sure that will create an added step. We've tried to "include" the itrader_global.php file in the PPC showproduct.php file, then including the iTrader variables in the template with no success. I don't know if we did it wrong though - we included the URL to the file.

If anyone can help us figure out how to do this it would be much appreciated. I know others have been trying to figure it out as well.
