Think I found a Bug In VB
Well After a long stupid battle with trying to get my forum to display the proper times after this recent DTS change. Making sure the site reflected the correct time zones and offsets both for the user and the main board settings 20 times.
I was coming up with being one hour behind still. So I posted asking for some help here on this matter and I was told the board gets it time from the server so checked with the host and myself to make sure the server was set right in, which case it was. Being lost from there I was stuck on what it could be. I then resorted to the tried and true way of fixing things I just started messing around with the settings while being logged in as myself, after adjusting the DST Setting under TIME ZONE to DST CORRECTIONS ALWAYS ON from the default setting of Automatically detect DST settings. Everything is now fine. I'm looking to see if I can set that to default for all the users so their time will be correct. I have talked to many of my members to see if this problem and resolution could be replicated and it was fully. So is this an error in VB or my own settings being off? But even if its set on the default it should work properly when the board settings and server settings are correct. RIGHT? Sorry for such a ramble Just excited I found it and fixed it after spending the past few day's on it. Does anyone else have this problem? Bump |
