A few questions

Is there a mod/hack somewhere that will allow me to display the lastest 5 posts in the forum in a non-forum page?

My forums are in http://www.nepalhub.com/ and the linked chatroom is at http://www.nepalgossip.com/ . What i want to do is for the users who are chatting, display lastest 5 posts in the forums from that site. Both sites are in the same server, which is a dedicated server, so running some custom queries will not be of an issue.

Any links for this will be great.

I am unable to find from where I can control the number of PMs allowed. My forum now has 50 max limit and I am unable to find from where to upgrade it globally.

I am getting an extra / in the links . and I am not sure from where i am getting it.

An example:

The issue appears in another place too:

I have photopost gallery at http://www.nepalhub.com/gallery/
When I am inside the gallery, when I click on the image at the top, automatically an extra / is appened in the URL. Though this does not break the functionality of the website, it makes the vbseo not to work when the extra / is in place.
