Edit/Quote/QE buttons mis-aligned in posts
I have 2 VB forums running, both 3.5.4. In the more recent one the Edit, Quote and QR buttons are aligned vertically the bottom right of each post panel.
Similarly the icons in the user panel on the left (postbit legacy) for Online, Report bad post, and user IP are vertical. I think these look much better horizontal like they are in this forum for example, i.e. beside one another rather than one on top of the other. I can't figure why they are horizontal on the first forum but vertical on the second, as I can't think what I've changed to make that happen. Related I'm sure - also noticed that when a smilie is inserted in a post it always puts in on a new line, never in the middle of the text where it was inserted. Seems to create a line-break before and after each smilie. The forum works fine otherwise but this is a waste of vertical space on the page and is really bugging me now - just doesn't look right. Final question - in the original forums in the vb options in the Control Panel I can set max sig images dimensions, e.g. width 550, height 100. I don't remember adding that as a hack or plugin but I don't have that option available in the most recent installation. I tried the postbit legacy template but even when I pasted in the code from forum 1 it didn't change the post layout. As far as I can see the vBulletin Options are identical on both forums. Don't know where to look next. Help in finding where to edit these would be appreciated. Thanks screenie of what I mean ... http://www.visport.co.uk/VS/forumlayout.jpg |
