I'm trying to get a custom search button to create a dropdown box, like the search button on the navbar does. Right now, all it's doing is linking to the main search page. I'm using this code:
HTML Code:
<a href="search.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="4" rel="nofollow" onMouseOver="MM_nbGroup('over','search','http://www.rahlentertainment.com/livexchange/forums/images/trapazoid/subnav_buttons/search_over.gif','',1)" onMouseOut="MM_nbGroup('out')"><img src="http://www.rahlentertainment.com/livexchange/forums/images/trapazoid/subnav_buttons/search.gif" alt="Search" width="79" height="25" border="0"></a><script type="text/javascript"> vbmenu_register("navbar_search"); </script>
<!-- header quick search form -->
<div class="vbmenu_popup" id="navbar_search_menu" style="display:none">
<table cellpadding="4" cellspacing="1" border="0">
<tr>
<td class="thead">$vbphrase[search_forums]</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="vbmenu_option" title="nohilite">
<form action="search.php" method="post">
<input type="hidden" name="do" value="process" />
<input type="hidden" name="showposts" value="0" />
<input type="hidden" name="quicksearch" value="1" />
<input type="hidden" name="s" value="$session[sessionhash]" />
<input type="text" class="bginput" name="query" size="20" /> $gobutton<br />
</form>
</td>
</tr>
<tr>
<td class="vbmenu_option"><a href="search.php$session[sessionurl_q]" accesskey="4" rel="nofollow">$vbphrase[advanced_search]</a></td>
</tr>
</table>
</div>
<!-- / header quick search form -->
