"Rate Thread" button present when entering new thread or post reply

I would like to give my users the option to rate the thread they are posting in while they are posting a Thread or a Post Reply.

I believe that the best way to do this is to create a button in the page where one posts that states "Rate."

I imagine trhat this "Rate" button will be a link to the Rate Thread option given just above a thread. Though I would like that the user will be able to rate the thread when posting. I do not want the "Rate" button to be a link to a different page b/c I belive that would be confusing to the user.
