Finding hacks
As a coder I don't like to write a hack that already exists. First, it is rude to the original hack author, and second it is a waste of my time. However, I find it increasingly difficult to find out if a hack I want to create already exists.
I'm not saying I have a solution, but I'm openning the problem up to the community. Members have the same problem finding hacks I'm sure, meaning they may never find the hack they are looking for. Better tagging, hack specific search tools? Thoughts everyone? |
