rotating out "Soft Deletes" ?

Hello, can someone tell me if there is a mod available out there that can rotate out Soft Deletes over a period of time? My understand is that soft deletes never get deleted from the database...thus, taking up space just like a normal post.

Would be great if there is either a mod out there that can do this..or instructions on how to add a cron to do this would be awesome.
