Default file permissions? (linux)
Not sure if this is the proper forum for this, but I think it is.
I'm in the middle of migrating a vB site that I run, and for some reason my index is showing up blank: http://www.sevenstring.org While my forum page is working: http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/ I'm not sure if it's some odd DNS bug, a problem with my server, or really what else it could be. There's an index.php in the root (vbIndex), as well as an index.html file that I just made to see if it was some kind of file issue. The only other thing I can think of is that it might possibly be file permissions. I've tried setting the index to 644, 755 and even 777, but it doesn't seem to want to play along. I searched and didn't see a reference to it, but what's the best/preferred permission mask for my vB files? Thanks in advance! |
