HELP! Porting over of VBB threads from 1 forum to another

Good day to all,
Facing an issue here and hope anyone can help me out. I am about to set a new vbb forum for a new website i am about to create. However, I am currently sharing a vbb forum with other interest groups and wish to pull out the threads under my own section into my newly setup vbb. I am unable to do so as the current vbb do not provide such a function. I am reluctant to do the switch now as i am afriad of losing the threads and post i currently have on the shared forum.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Or is there a 3rd party software that actually assist me in doing this porting over without losing the exiting posts?
