Tiered Paid Subscriptions? (usergroup-dependant availability)
What I'm looking for specifically is the ability to display or hide a paid subscription option based on usergroups. For example if I have 10 different subscription options total, only certain subscriptions will be available to you depending which usergroup you're in. As you change usergroups, different subscriptions become available to you.
For a sample application, this would enable the ability to provide a tiered subscription scheme such as the following: Subscription #1 - Available to everyone, changes user to usergroup 2. - Subscription #2 - Available only to Usergroup 2, changes user to usergroup 3 - - Subscription #3 - Available only to Usergroup 3, changes user to usergroup 4 The usergroup changes are built-in, but I'm having trouble "hiding" specific subscriptions for all but specific usergroup(s). Certainly this is tied to the subscription ID and I suspect a simple IF statement to check the user's usergroup before displaying that subscription ID? I've looked at payments.php and I cannot figure out how/where to implement this. Can anyone help? |
