Known bugs

1. If a user disables cookies, infinite redirect loop.
2. index2, index3 pagination breaks some things. Standard p2, p3 works fine.

In 3.8.0 there was an issue where members, on the last page of the thread, tried to click the "View First Unread" link and were taken to the forumhome instead.

I solved that issue by making a simple template edit:

In SHOWTHREAD Template:

find:

<a href="$firstunread"><img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/firstnew.gif" alt="$vbphrase[view_first_unread]" border="0" /></a>
			<a href="$firstunread"><strong>$vbphrase[view_first_unread]</strong></a>

And replace with:

<a href="showthread.php?goto=newpost&amp;t=$thread[threadid]"><img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/firstnew.gif" alt="$vbphrase[view_first_unread]" border="0" /></a>
			<a href="showthread.php?goto=newpost&amp;t=$thread[threadid]"><strong>$vbphrase[view_first_unread]</strong></a>

You should disable all the hacks before upgrading to 3.8.

Does anyone plan to actually release an updated version of this mod, or maybe publish a guide with all changes that must be made for it to work to 100% with 3.8?
