Seriously I really need help with this.
This is destroying my SEO. I've been trying to write my own htaccess to get this to work but I can't. What are everyone's settings for archive page navigation and all other options for archives? Please!! I'll even take a way to disable rewrites on the archive! |

Has anyone tried with vb3.6.8?

1. Don't use mod_rewrite. You don't need it. It puts an extra load on your server and provides no SEO benefits whatsoever.
2. Don't use the archive as a sitemap. Set it so that the links in the archive lead back to the original posts. 3. It works fine on 3.6.8. |

I have a problem that when I try to log in at the index, it doesn't recogise it although when i click on a link to another area, It does. This must be a problem with this tool or vBulletin 3.6.8. Also, the archive doesn't work: http://www.webtutorialz.com/forum/archive/index.php.

vBulletin 3.6.8 (patch 2)
Zoints SEO 2.2.2 It sounds like others are having the same problem as me: 1) Cannot get rid of index.php with or without mod_rewrite 2) Archive/sitemap gives "No input file specified" if you just hit /archive/ or /sitemap/ 3) If you go to /archive/index.php or /sitemap/index.php you get the main forum list, but the links just regenerate the same page. Anyone making progress on this? I'd love to help fix it, but I just installed everything and have never seen it working properly. Not sure where/when the problem was introduced. |
