This is unlike my past video mod which used bbcode, this one is more simple and works much better for the user too. What it does it parses the url when the post is viewed, so it will work with past links and new links.
So basically the user enters a video link in a post and its automaticly displayed as the actual embedded video.
Works With:

this script is so cool, but it doesn't seem to work with vb blog module.
is there a module like this that works with blog?
thanks
It works for the blog owner for the initial post, this is the best that can be done without hard coding, from what passivevid said in a much earlier post
1. Does this work for video links that were posted PRIOR to installing this mod? So if I go back and view old posts, will the videos now be embedded?
2. Does this have an effective on site performance (speed)? Will the users notice the threads displaying more slowly because of the parsing that it has to go through with this mod turned on?

I installed it and try posting in blog but the video didn't appear. only the link
any ideas?
I installed this and so far have only tested a YouTube video. It embedded and played properly, but the URL is displayed on top where the title should be. I read through the other posts and the impression I get is that I need vbSEO to get the actual title. Is this correct or is this a bug? Thanks, this will be fabulous once I get the video title in there.
Hi,
I am just wondering if u can allow the hack to read videos from the website www.movieweb.com
Hi mate,
Thanks for this great hack. I just wanna know if it is possible to let the hack support videos from this website www.movieweb.com. I've ready posted a message regarding that but maybe you didn't notice it as u get many posts a day.
