This is unlike my past video mod which used bbcode, this one is more simple and works much better for the user too. What it does it parses the url when the post is viewed, so it will work with past links and new links.
So basically the user enters a video link in a post and its automaticly displayed as the actual embedded video.

sorry about that, seems that i forgot to add the optional www for vidmax, you can remove the WWW. in the url and it should work.
removing it in the .xml file or?
=edit=
tryd now the url without the www. and it indeed works. But this will confuse ppl maybe. When posting the url. Can this be fixed in the update or what can i edit in the .xml file?

Love this idea! I could never get a lot of users to remember to use the BBCODES with other hacks. This takes that out of the equation.
I do seem to be having one problem though:
It seems to be turning everything after the url into a hyperlink.
What I mean is that when I post a new video link, any and all text after the url turns into a hyperlink - not linked to the video - but something else. http://ca.%3cobject%20width=/
Hmm. I just realized that the link is from Youtube Canada, which has urls that start with ca.youtube.com...
Released 1.0.7, cleaned my code up a bit and am using a different method now. Should make complicated things easier for me. Also fixed a fix issues people had before.

Install the product with overwrite set to yes, and place the bitfild file in your includes/xml folder and overwrite it if your upgrading.
