DownloadsII is a download database that integrates into vBulletin. It allows you to upload files, add images to them, create categories, link to external files - and more. It is very flexible and has many options.
Because a lot of people keep on asking this: This mod works with any version of vBulletin 3.7.x and 3.8.x!
It's also coded 100% XHTML 1.0 Transitional valid, just like vBulletin itself.

Help!!! I can't upload large files??
This is probably the second most asked question. Have a look at this post for the solution.
It doesn't work with GARS?!
If you also use the latest version of GARS, you will get the "Fields marked in RED must be filled in!" error when uploading a file. I provided a fix here on the GARS forums.
Addons
We are offering 3 addons for this mod at the moment (have a look at the bottom of this post for them). DownloadsII contains 5 hook locations for the vBulletin plugin systems, so you can add extra functionality without file edits.

Notes
ecDownloads Buddy is NOT compatible with this version. If you are using the Buddy, you should UNINSTALL it before installing DownloadsII ver 5.x.x. The Buddy's features are now integrated into DownloadsII.
DownloadsII is a direct derivative work from Ron1n's ecDownloads.
* I dont use a username it says Unknown (Uploaded by Demented) any way to just have it show the uploader instead of Unknown (Rats! I forgot to fix this with ver 5.0.3)
I got a little problem now since upgrading to the newest version.
At first I could approve files by the "manager file" setting, selecting approve and that was it (use the drop-down menu). But this does not work anymore.
Now i have to click every file which needs approval and approve it in the download section then.
Normally you should be able to approve multiple files by selecting multiple files (die vinkjes er in zetten) and click "go" below. But standaard the setting next to go is [pin] and [categorie] which takes care nothing gets approved.
So like how it's now, you cannot select multiple files for multiple categories to approve at once. So this does not work either.
Can both be fixed? Or at least the drop-down menu approval option which worked fine before?
bringing the whole post forward. I thought we'd fixed this .... but ... I guess not!

Let me look at this again. Jelle and I can't decide if this is a bug or a feature!
Hmmz.. Cyberranger, have a look at post #484, you wrote I was not forgotten, see my bugreport in #454 about the approvals.
However.... it's not fixed. Approvals still don't work from the pulldown menu in this beta.
I checked this out and it does work. (at least on my three test sites)
In the attached pics, I've clicked "Check All". I already had these approved so then I can the select list at the bottom to "unapprove", click "Go" and it works fine. Works too when I go back and approve them.
In the first version which I had installed, it approved without having to click "go". Selecting "approve" from the pulldown was enough.
Maybe this was changed then to make mass-approvals possible.
I tried with and without the "check all", but still no effekt.
In the attach pics I use the pulldown where it says now "action".
No effekt on my downloads. Still not working.
I can't get a single (or 2 or 3) files approved this way.
Yes, I changed that a while back. It was way too easy to accidently select delete with no confirmation at all. Now, at least you must click "Go".

I don't know what else to tell you. It is working correctly for me. You may want to see if any of your templates need reverted. That's the only other item I can think of.
After you selected action of "approve", you clicked "Go", right? Then what happened? Were you taken to the main downloads page?
