This is VB World Weather...

It allow your users to look up and display local weather for 39,722 locations around the world! It is template based with multi language support built in!


The zip file contains...

1. Step by step install files
2. All images, language files, templates, weather database file and scripts

when you login go to the usercp to try the demo, also look at the bottom of the forum home for the other display...

The one on the forum home can be placed where ever you want to place it!

Add a database install table script, for people who can not run
the single sql file (FOUND IN STEP 7). It is very easy to use!

I fixed my issue. I am convinced that this is a vbulletin bug. Once I made the other non related fields non private, the problem was gone.

All installed and works great. Thanks for the excellent addition. However, there is one minor problem:

The Forecast displays on the Forum Home with Internet Explorer and Opera, but not with Mozilla Firefox. Probably one of the conditionals in the FORUMHOME template is not compatible with it. Do you have a fix for this?

That's defined via main.css which is loaded with the FORUMHOME template. You can change the colors by editing it.

If you have more than one skin you would need different .css files and further conditionals in FORUMHOME loading the right .css, depending on which skin is used.

The link doesn't show up in the usercp the "Local Weather" link. I know the url the to ucer cp page and I can get it to load up but i can't get it to save the city. It just keeps saying:
-- NO FORECAST SELECTED --

Use the Forecast Options below to configure your weather display

after I have selected a city!!!! Ver annoying. I followed the instructions step by step!!

Go into current_weather_two template.

Change the first "wic" to "alt2". Then change the second "wic" to "alt1". Works like a charm.

That throws off the centering. It is better to change the 'wic' directly in the css into the alt2 color
