This is VB World Weather...
It allow your users to look up and display local weather for 39,722 locations around the world! It is template based with multi language support built in!
The zip file contains...
1. Step by step install files
2. All images, language files, templates, weather database file and scripts
I got this thing installed in my vb3.03 messageboard and got no errors doing it. Howver, I have no link anywhere in the usercp that refers to the worldweather forecast.
I took this out and i'm still getting the same error. Any other idea's?
Endless, whatever you are using for a php editor throw it away. It's adding all kinds of garbage to the file. I cleaned it up and emailed it back to you. Try using the attached editor instead from now on. It's free and it works a thousand times better.
OK, I made the USERCP_SHELL edit (although I thought that was what the w_tpl.xml file import was supposed to do). All seems to be working.
However, I am having trouble with a image that wont display. The source code of the web page says it is looking for 48.gif. There is no 48.gif. Above and below this broken image is "-na-"
Also, every once in awhile, none of the the image display. Looking at the page source code, I see the following:
---------------------------------
<td height='20' class='pinfo'><img src='http://www.wildonweather.com/forum/forecast/img/' title='' alt='' />
---------------------------------
When it does this, the "local time" and "sunset" columns do not display any temperatures. They just say "Hi" and "Lo".
Another thing, I went into my usercp and told it to "Show my current conditions on the forum home page". However, it never shows up.

I have uninstalled this hack and replaced every backup file but still have new users that have this in the registration
Forecast Display Type... : Standard (°F)
Display Languages : English
Extended Forecast : 3 Days
Forum Display : Yes, always display it!
Forecast Locations : 24709
what Did I miss? it even shows on the registration page I have uploaded Vbulletins orginal registration php file and nothing will get rid of this hack
any ideas?
I had to remove mine too, I think my board is too hacked for it to work. Just follow the installation directions in reverse. Take your time and do it step by step and you will be done in 30 minutes.
