BB Code Enhancements - Watermark Images BB Code - [wm]

What does it do?
What this mod does is allows your users to watermark images using a BB Code called [wm]. It creates the watermarks using the GD. It then saves these watermarked images to your server.

Installation Instructions

1. Download the product and install it on your forum
2. Create a directory called "wmcache" and set the permissions/CHMOD to 777 - THIS PART IS IMPORTANT
3. Then you can start using it!

Syntax
Very simple syntax
[wm=Watermark text]URL to image[/wm]

What's to come
This product is still in the beta stages so I want to make sure it works well before adding new bits. However once all of the holes have been plugged I will add new features. Firstly I will add support for fonts and the ability to adjust the size and colour of the watermark background. I appreciate it's a bit ugly at the moment. This will all be customizable in the Admin CP. So make sure you click install to ensure you get the new features.

However i must mention the chmod 777 sounds bit security risk to me.
Why there is any need to give "Everyone" a "write" and/or "execute" permissions ?

Lots of plugins require you to CHMOD something to 777. Just make sure its writable, thats the main thing.

Im really not sure, I did a fresh install of the mod on my test board and pasted this code in

[wm=test]http://www.samysoft.net/forumim/islamic1/1/616134056.jpg[/wm]

And it worked perfectly. I think it might be something to do with your server. Try contacting your host and ask them if they have any limitations regarding the GD.

the result is ( GD v2 installed )

i dont no if this code is true ( is GD installed on my server or no )
