This AddOn is a membermap for vBulletin. We coded this AddOn in german and published it on vbhacks-germany.org first, here you will find a stable version in english now.
Your users can add their location on the map... Have a look at it and check yourself.
Meanwhile, I re-uploaded the file for US and the state abbreviation doesnt have to be entered anymore
How does the US-map work? Are the entries on the map getting shown well?
No problem!
Everything seems fine to me, although I haven't tried it with more than one user. Pop-ups are showing, and my previous problem with the save entry button was fixed obviously. I will update with the new map and post any bugs.
Here are some spelling errors and grammar mistakes in the English version, as well as some wording suggestions. I am sure you guys will get to it eventually, and I know I am crazy for bothering, but I thought I would save you some time. I am not a language expert though! Just a fan helping out. I was going to wait until I went through the whole mod, but here is what I have in case I don't end up doing that:
Errors

"Headline of the input area?" should refer to the default title of the user area, and using Title or Header would be more correct than using Headline, so it could be "Title of the input area", or better yet "User Info Window Title" (without the question mark.)
"Name of the Headline in the window where the users can enter their data for an entry" could also be changed to "The title of Membermap's user information window."

@unitedpunjab and http://www.mapsofindia.com/pincode/
Is it possible for you to get a database-dump of this postal-codes or anything else?
Otherwise we have to typewrite each several postal code in a table...no way!
And I believe if I will write a script which can do all the requests automatically
and copy all these postal codes.... I am quite convinced:
their server would go down...
so how I can get this "geodata-table" that you need?
If you could get a complete list with zipcodes and geo-data already, that would be the best. Atleast we need the zipcodes in a list (no matter which format) to create a geo-database of a country!
