Totally different and incompatible with my other Mods vbArticles & vbNews I just informed that there is another mod with this name Except that I apologize to its Author for any trouble I want to make clear that my mod has nothing to do with Blogs. 1.- General information vbJurnal it is a combination (in features but in interface too) of my former (Free versions) vbArticles and vbNews. What I'm delivering in features in this 1.0.0 version is the main mod. There are nearly dozens of additional features that can be add on it, but everything is depending on it's popularity. If I see lots of installations, sure I'll spend time to add more features. Some of the additional features that I've in mind are:

Well, I can't duplicate the error even when I asked some friends to check it. Could you please check it from another computer?

Hi
I have checked from two other computers and the same thing happens. Interestingly, when the vbjournal.php?do=newarticle page is refreshed there is no page error! I guess it's not a problem as it doesn't stop it functioning. I guess it must be something to do with my style template then! Inline images are activated. It's just the shortcut button which is missing, only on vbjournal vbulletin editor, not on the rest of the board. I can still dsiplay images by actually typing in the [img] tags. On the Newest Articles box it says: "By x, at 22/08/2007" - I'd like to change that to "By x on 22/08/2007". Would you be able to tell me which template to modify? Thanks. On vbarticles I liked the "preview" button. With vbjournal a member cannot preview their articles. If they have made an error then cannot edit their own articles either. This is likely to cause increase requests to admin to make minor spelling and formatting alterations! |

Ok, I managed to make the change I wanted by changing the phrase name="vbjournal_at" to say 'on' rather than 'at' in the product xml.
I still have the problem that a Registered Member cannot edit their own articles. I have the permissions set correctly in the Usergroup Manager, but when the Edit button is clicked it says "You don't have permission to......". Mary, on your working demos, does the vbulletin editor have a preview button? Because mine doesn't. I'm also baffled by the fact the editor works perfectly but there is no img button. It appears on the vbulletin editor within the rest of the forum! If anyone wants to have a look at how I have vbjournal set up then it's here: http://www.labellavocedellapuglia.com |
